Limited Offer And Limited Spaces

This is a very simple idea that I wanted to put to you as a business owner yourself. 

Once again, it is nothing new, it is not a ground breaking invention but it is something, that you as a business owner could benefit from very cheaply and is certainly something worth taking a punt on.

Over the next few months, Northern Starfish Records will embark on a national campaign. They will be promoting one of the strongest new songwriters in the UK Cameron Walsh.  A great deal of their promotion will involve distributing flyers door to door via Royal Mail.  As I am sure you can appreciate, this will give mass exposure to tens of thousands of households in different towns and cities throughout the UK.  Which got me thinking! 

This is a major campaign, that will be targeting residential houses in your area.

Can you imagine, just how much it would cost you to flyer even as little as 5000 households in your area? 

Their promotional flyer is a two sided A5 flyer but it could be 4 sides!  Think about it, the front page will naturally be held for their own promotion, leaving the centre pages open for advertising (if we were willing to pay a small amount to buy the extra space).  This would provide room for 20 small ad boxes per page, each approximately 175 x 60mm minimum in size (as seen below), which would provide enough space to list your details.

 

I believe that the offer you are about to read, is an fantastic way for you to reach potential new customers in your local catchment area and one that only a fool with no business sense would turn down.

My idea was to utilise this space for local business like yourself.  It would enable you to reach a targeted audience in your local catchment area, virtually RISK FREE!  Whom ever is savvy enough to take advantage of this unique offer, would certainly have a fantastic opportunity to get their business in front of 5000 households, free from their competitors and at a ridiculously cheap price.

Northern Starfish Records are not an advertising agency or newspaper. Their main concern is promoting their own business, therefore they do not need to ask ridiculous prices for advertising and then try to justify those prices with over hyped response figures. As a small business themselves, they realise the needs of small local businesses and how crippling advertising can be for them. If they can help other small businesses achieve the exposure they need at low cost in their local area, that’s great and yes, it would also help reduce their cost too, as they are a self funding organisation. As I am sure you can appreciate, competing with the major record labels is not cheap!

So Why Take A Punt Yourself?

  • As a small business, you do not want to pay to advertise along side your competitors. Therefore, this opportunity, offers a unique single entry policy: i.e. if you advertise your business, there will be no other business offering the same service as yourself in that flyer/brochure. Guaranteed.

Realistically, we expect to cover 5000 residential properties in each area but it really depends on the response I receive, from you the business owner.  I would not expect you to make a decision know and I certainly would not ask you for any money at this point.  All I would like to know now, is whether you may be interested in having a space, should the price be cheap!
