WebSite Building
Basically, there are 2 ways to build a web site:
1. The easy and cheap way
2. The hard and expensive way.
Many years ago, when I first started out, there was very little choice. You could attempt to build your own website or pay a web designer a very large amount of money to build you one.
Building your own website, meant having to know computer language and scripts, having knowledge of all the latest software, acquiring knowledge about Internet Marketing such as auto responders, email marketing, SEO (Search Engine Optimisation), keywords selection and other programmes that probably meant nothing to you and probably still do not! Hence why web designers could happily charge extortionate fees for their services.
The good news is, that thanks to technology, it is now possible to build and maintain your own professional looking website, without having any previous experience or knowledge of computer language and script or worrying about the latest programmes and Internet Marketing techniques. However, The bad news is, there are still a huge amount of businesses paying web designers large amounts of money unnecessarily, for something they could be doing themselves and at a fraction of the cost!
The really crazy thing is, even web designers themselves are starting to use the tool I am now about to introduce you to, simply because it is so powerful and provides results that would otherwise take them a great deal more time and knowledge to achieve. Yes, you guessed right, they pay very little for this tool (which reduces their own work load and is a tool that you yourself could use) and then they still have the audacity to charge you a huge amount of money for the privilege!
Having a website for your business is no longer a luxury item, it is a necessity and is affordable. Having a website that actually works, that is found over your competitors websites and results in you generating more new customers and money, is paramount.
